Research Focus #

  • Mechanistic models of seizure onset and termination in epilepsy
  • EEG biomarkers in epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease
  • Sleep and circadian modulation of brain dynamics
  • Model–data fusion and interpretable computational frameworks

Academic Appointments #

Research Fellow in Mathematical Modelling and Model–Data Fusion
University of Surrey · May 2024 – present

  • Principal Investigator on the UK Dementia Research Institute – LifeArc pilot award, “A computational biomarker to screen for epilepsy in Alzheimer’s disease”.
  • Designing and conducting overnight human sleep EEG studies.
  • Developing real-time EEG phase estimation and closed-loop auditory stimulation.
